Thank god!

I thought long and hard and reviewed a lot before I got this litter robot. I wish I had of just done it earlier. The joy of not having to empty a litter tray or 2. The machine itself is great. It’s big but really quiet considering its size. It’s easy to change the bags and wipe down the inside. I just love it. My two cats took about 4 days to start using it regularly and then after a week it was all they had. One of them doesn’t always trigger the sensor but the other always does and I just manually cycle it. I bought the step and I think it helped them use it initially. I use way less litter than I would usually which is an unexpected bonus. I had a few issues with delivery which were handled really quickly and efficiently with Mary. She was also on hand when I needed any help, either by email, messenger or just phone text. Great product, don’t regret the money, great service. Would highly recommend getting one for you and your puddy
I’ve just seen recently a hopper or caddy for the number four. I’d like one of those for the number 3 as I tend to spill litter all on the floor when I’m refilling. Ah, small problems now! 🤗

Best. Purchase. Ever.

I went back and forth for months about whether or not the Litter Robot would be a worthwhile purchase. I hate scooping the litter box, to the point at which I would put off doing it (which I know my cat despised, because he would eat his own **** in protest).

Eventually, I bit the bullet and purchased a reconditioned Litter Robot. Let me just say... This is the best decision that I've ever made. The Litter Robot arrived to my rural address within forty-eight hours of purchasing, and has greatly improved mine and my cat's quality of life.

He was unsure of the machine at first, but I followed the suggestions that the Litter Robot and Cat Evolution team make when acclimating your cat to the new box. After three days, my cat was exclusively using the Litter Robot and I was able to dispose of the old litterbox at the end of the week. I've been scoop-free (and stink-free) in my small flat since!

Ongoing support is second-to-none

The support I received when I contacted with an issue was quick and in-depth. I emailed on the weekend and was helped with suggestions, multiple responses and parts were on my front doorstep Tuesday afternoon with access to clear instructions for me to be able to swap them in. It seems our issue is fixed and nothing was too much effort for the team.

Many thanks for the support more than a year after purchase. I was worried I’d have to return to the old school methods, devastating when my cats and I have come to love the comfort and effortlessly clean litter the Litter Robot system has afforded us. It allows me to keep tabs on how often my two are using the litter (handy for their differing medical needs - one with diabetes and the joy that brings 💩), it only requires the occasional change of bag and a big clean once every few months to make sure it’s kept in good working order.

Processing and Delivery Times

All orders are typically processed on the next business day (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).

Standard shipping typically takes between 2-8 business days. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Additionally, nationwide delays (such as those caused by COVID-19, holiday volumes, or inclement weather) may impact your estimated delivery date.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number to track your order . Once you receive your tracking number, please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking portal to update.

Return and Refund Policy

Cat Evolution was created to enhance the lives of cat owners and their cats.  There will always an element of trial in finding the most suitable products for your individual pet, as all cats are different! We ask that you keep this in mind when choosing products, as you also know your cat/s the best.

 

We accept returns of non-consumable products (consumable products are items like waste drawer liners, cat litter, filters) within 30 days of the sale date for any reason providing the products are in a re-saleable condition (see Change of Mind below). Items returned after 30 days may not qualify for a refund, or may incur an extra $25 restocking fee, except for the Whisker Litter-Robot III Open Air, Litter-Robot III Open Air Connect and Litter-Robot 4 which are covered by the 90 Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee below.

 

If your product arrives damaged or not as described on our website, we will gladly exchange it for an alternative or issue a refund. In these cases, return shipping will be arranged at our expense.

 

Please do not return items by COD or Return to Sender - contact us (support@catevolution.com.au) before you return anything. Any items returned to sender for any reason (including refusal, wrong address and unclaimed) will be refunded minus the original and return postage and a 20% restocking fee.

 

Change of Mind

In cases of 'Change of Mind' returns (eg wrong size or colour has been selected), we will accept returns as long as the item purchased is in a re-saleable condition, meaning it is undamaged, as new, unused, unopened and has all original packaging and tags intact. The return postage will need to be paid by the buyer and the original delivery charge will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

The original delivery charge is the amount charged to Cat Evolution by the carrier eg. Australia Post for shipping the item from our warehouse to your location and varies for each order depending on the volumetric weight of the parcel and the shipping location.  The shipping fees are generally built into the price of the item so delivery charges will be deducted from all returned orders due to Change of Mind, even those with free shipping, and will often exceed any shipping fee charged to the customer at the time of purchase. 

A fee of 6% of the purchase price will be charged to cover the non-refundable transaction fees (banks and payment providers such as PayPal and Afterpay) do not refund transaction fees and restocking into the warehouse.

 

Warranty Claims

All non-consumable Cat Evolution products come with a minimum 12 month Warranty for manufacturing defects.

 

We are committed to honouring our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. This means you can choose a refund or replacement if a product has a major problem. This is where the product:
  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
  • Is not of acceptable quality or is unsafe;
  • Is not fit for purpose;
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description;
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

 

If the problem is not major, we will at our discretion give you a refund or replacement, or repair the item within a reasonable time.

 

Please keep your proof of purchase (e.g. your receipt).
If a product has been deemed to be damaged or defective on arrival, we will replace a product or product part as deemed appropriate.

Litter-Robot Accessories

Litter-Robot Accessories are not covered by the 90 Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.  We will accept them as a Change of Mind return only.

 

Warranty is automatically voided where damage to the product is caused by reason other than manufacture defects, such as accident, misuse, improper use, abuse, faulty operation contrary to recommended usage, transportation damage or when product has been tampered, altered, modified, converted, repaired or serviced other than by us or without our permission.

 

If you are wishing to return a product or received a damaged shipment or product, please contact support@catevolution.com.au asap and provide photographic evidence to assist assessment.

 

Making changes and cancelling an order

Please take care when placing orders. Do ensure you check all details on the provided receipt carefully at the time of purchase and advise if any error is evident.

 

Customer service is our highest priority for the large number of orders we process every day. Unfortunately, we are generally not able to alter or cancel orders once they are placed. Orders are processed in real time by a 3rd party so that we can get your products to you quickly.

 

If you need to change your order, please let our team know asap including order number and we will assist where possible, and let you know our returns process. It is important that you do not return your order via “Return to Sender” as this will incur shipping fees that are non-refundable.
