    LITTERHOPPER USE

    Ensure the omnisensors are calibrated as Caturally is a light colour litter. 

    Is it suitable for kittens?

    Many households transition kittens successfully, but if you have a very young kitten or a cat that tends to eat litter, supervise closely and consult your veterinarian.

    Will it stop tracking?

    All litter types track to some degree. For best results, use a litter mat at the exit. Caturally Clumping Cassava and Corn Cat Litter is a light colour which may be preferred for some households.

    Note: Performance can vary based on litter box, number of cats, humidity, and cleaning routine.

    Feels Like Sand

    I just tried the new litter, it does well in the robot but lack of odour control is an issue for me plus it does track which all litters do but I find this one feels like sand all around my house, will be switching back to the carbon option, could be improved with odour control added.

    The Caturally Cassava and Corn Litter is plant-based, and has a small but harder grain that does not disintegrate to power as the clay litter does.

    This is liked by quite a few customers who dont like the grey or powder nature of clay. Plant based litters do need to have waste removed more frequently (every 2-3 days) than the more inert mineral/clay litter. There is extra odour control for Superior Clay Clumping Litter due to the added activated carbon.

    Plant based litters are lighter and also track more, making a litter trap mat essential.

    Not great at all

    This litter was beyond disappointing! Doesn't absorb smell and tracks everywhere!!
    I do not recommend. A very expensive mistake on my part!

    I completely understand your comments regarding the odour control and tracking. Those are two of the key differences customers tend to notice when comparing plant-based litters with clay litters.

    In general, plant-based litters do not provide the same level of odour control as quality clay litters, particularly Cat Evolution Superior Clumping Clay, which contains activated carbon for additional odour absorption. That extra odour control is one of the reasons many customers prefer clay-based litter.

    That said, Caturally is one of the better-performing plant-based options we've found. The corn and cassava blend, sourced from Brazil, offers very good clumping and odour-control properties for a natural litter. It also has a small, firm granule that doesn't break down into the fine grey powder that some customers dislike with clay litters.

    As you've experienced, the trade-off is that plant-based litters are lighter, which can lead to more tracking around the home. For that reason, we generally recommend using a good litter-trapping mat alongside any plant-based litter.

    If you'd like to use up the remaining Caturally, you could try mixing a small amount into your clay litter. We recommend keeping the mix below 20% Caturally and ensuring it is blended thoroughly, as higher ratios are generally not suitable.

    Not totally sold on it

    It definitely tracks less than the clumping litter but I dont think it contains the smell as well. Ive taken to doing a 50/50 mix which is working well.

    Excellent product for Litter-Robot

    Works really well in the IR4. There’s no dust, so it doesn’t interfere with the sensors and it’s a lot easier to keep clean.

    Clumps well

    Forms clumps well, doesn't smell and doesn't stick to the walls so the clumps sieve out well. It tracks a lot more than the clay litter so I'll be switching back to the clay. I have long hair big cats who dig and launch themselves out of the litterbot so tracking is always an issue for any litter we use.

    Processing and Delivery Times

    All orders are typically processed on the next business day (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).

    Standard shipping typically takes between 2-8 business days. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Additionally, nationwide delays (such as those caused by COVID-19, holiday volumes, or inclement weather) may impact your estimated delivery date.

    Tracking Your Order

    Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number to track your order . Once you receive your tracking number, please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking portal to update.

    Return and Refund Policy

    Cat Evolution was created to enhance the lives of cat owners and their cats.  There will always an element of trial in finding the most suitable products for your individual pet, as all cats are different! We ask that you keep this in mind when choosing products, as you also know your cat/s the best.

     

    We accept returns of non-consumable products (consumable products are items like waste drawer liners, cat litter, filters, cat food) within 30 days of the sale date for any reason providing the products are in a re-saleable condition (see Change of Mind below). Items returned after 30 days may not qualify for a refund, or may incur an extra $25 restocking fee, except for the Whisker Litter-Robot III Open Air, Litter-Robot III Open Air Connect and Litter-Robot 4 which are covered by the 90 Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee below.

     

    If your product arrives damaged or not as described on our website, we will gladly exchange it for an alternative or issue a refund. In these cases, return shipping will be arranged at our expense.

     

    Please do not return items by COD or Return to Sender - contact us (support@catevolution.com.au) before you return anything. Any items returned to sender for any reason (including refusal, wrong address and unclaimed) will be refunded minus the original and return postage and a 20% restocking fee.

     

    Change of Mind

    In cases of 'Change of Mind' returns (eg wrong size or colour has been selected), we will accept returns as long as the item purchased is in a re-saleable condition, meaning it is undamaged, as new, unused, unopened and has all original packaging and tags intact. The return postage will need to be paid by the buyer and the original delivery charge will be deducted from the refund amount.

     

    The original delivery charge is the amount charged to Cat Evolution by the carrier eg. Australia Post, for shipping the item from our warehouse to your location and varies for each order depending on the volumetric weight of the parcel and the shipping location.  The shipping fees are generally built into the price of the item so delivery charges will be deducted from all returned orders due to Change of Mind, even those with free shipping, and will often exceed any shipping fee charged to the customer at the time of purchase. 

    A fee of $25.00 will be charged to cover the non-refundable transaction fees (banks and payment providers such as PayPal and Afterpay), which do not refund transaction fees, and restocking into the warehouse.

     

    Warranty Claims

    All non-consumable Cat Evolution products come with a minimum 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects.

     

    We are committed to honouring our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. This means you can choose a refund or replacement if a product has a major problem. This is where the product:
    • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
    • Is not of acceptable quality or is unsafe;
    • Is not fit for purpose;
    • Is significantly different from the sample or description;
    • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
    Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

     

    If the problem is not major, we will at our discretion give you a refund or replacement, or repair the item within a reasonable time.

     

    Please keep your proof of purchase (e.g. your receipt).
    If a product has been deemed to be damaged or defective on arrival, we will replace a product or product part as deemed appropriate.

    Litter-Robot Accessories

    Litter-Robot Accessories are not covered by the 90 Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.  We will accept them as a Change of Mind return only.

     

    Warranty is automatically voided where damage to the product is caused by reason other than manufacture defects, such as accident, misuse, improper use, abuse, faulty operation contrary to recommended usage, transportation damage or when product has been tampered, altered, modified, converted, repaired or serviced other than by us or without our permission.

     

    If you are wishing to return a product or received a damaged shipment or product, please contact support@catevolution.com.au asap and provide photographic evidence to assist assessment.

     

    Making changes and cancelling an order

    Please take care when placing orders. Do ensure you check all details on the provided receipt carefully at the time of purchase and advise if any error is evident.

     

    Customer service is our highest priority for the large number of orders we process every day. Unfortunately, we are generally not able to alter or cancel orders once they are placed. Orders are processed in real time by a 3rd party so that we can get your products to you quickly.

     

    If you need to change your order, please let our team know asap including order number and we will assist where possible, and let you know our returns process. It is important that you do not return your order via “Return to Sender” as this will incur shipping fees that are non-refundable.
