The Litter-Robot Open Air Fence is an accessory that fastens onto the bottom of the Globe entrance. It promotes your cats full entry into the Globe and acts as a barrier to contain kicked-up litter. It can also provide additional protection to the entry area.
- Prevents messes
- Easy to clean
- Simple to install - no tools required
A little insight from experience
The fence does a few things:
- helps keep litter in the globe if you have diggers and scratchers
- helps secure the front entry if your cats pull the liner edge loose from the entry lip
- helps protect the front entry if you have heavy footed or long clawed cats (ie BSH)
- encourages long tailed cats to enter fully and turn around, rather than leaving the tails out, as it makes the position less comfortable
- can help protect the entry area if your cats 'phantom' scratch, damaging the liner (depends on where they scratch)
- stops nibblers from chewing the front entry lip
- may help cats who deposit too close to the front entry, to move further into the globe
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
I'm considering buying the gate to help with spillage, as my cat is spreading litter everywhere when he jumps out :( If I buy just one item, do you guys have expensive shipping?)
For the litter scatter, I have tried the fence and the ramp. I found theramp really effective as my boy used to leap out (in joy Im sure) and traillitter like a comet tail. The ramp encourages a stately waltz down the stepswhich are angled to catch litter from paws, before getting to ground. A mat atthe end of the ramp completes capture in most cases, and certainly improvestracking hugely. Shadow is a digger, not a flicker. If your kitties are flickers, then afence is helpful. PS accessory price includes shipping with Australia Post Australia wide ;o)

Do you know when the Open Air Fence will be back in stock?
We will have more fences in the next order, due to arrive August.A temporary measure is to put tape across the entry, to see if it helps with your issue.
