Litter-Robot: Replacing the Pinch Detect Terminals

The Litter-Robot is equipped with an anti-pinch safety feature to make the Litter-Robot III Open Air extra safe for your cat.

While cycling, if a potential pinch condition is detected, the globe will stop and reverse direction for 2 seconds. The yellow light will begin flashing quickly (about four times per second), awaiting your action. Once the blockage is cleared, press any button to return the globe to the Home position.

Over time, the pinch detectors can become dirty or corroded and will need cleaning of the touchpoints, or replacing. The metal parts are designed to be self-replaceable and can be purchased from the website www.catevolution.com.au under accessories if available or you can email support@catevolution.com.au for assistance.

If you have replacement pinch detect terminals, watch this video for installation instructions to help with a replacement.
